Rise 360

AI roleplay in Rise 360

Add a scenario-based AI simulation to a Rise 360 lesson with an Embed block. When the course runs from a SCORM export in your LMS, the simulation reports score, pass/fail, and completion on its own.

Practice inside the lesson, results in your LMS

Add it with an Embed block

Copy the Rise 360 snippet from the simulation's Publishing tab. You can set the height first. In Rise, add a Multimedia, then Embed block, and click Content, then Change to paste the code.

Text or voice

Text simulations use a standard embed snippet. Voice simulations get a second snippet that adds the microphone permission attribute, and the simulation fills its frame inside the lesson.

Scores reported to your LMS, no triggers needed

Rise has no JavaScript triggers, so reporting runs on its own. When your course runs from a Rise SCORM 1.2 or SCORM 2004 export, the simulation writes score, pass/fail, session time, and a completed status to the learner's SCORM session as soon as it finishes.

One upload adds the bridge

Upload your Rise LMS export to the Publishing tab. The devlin.ai bridge is added in your browser, and a -devlin.zip package downloads back to you, ready for your LMS. Your course file is not uploaded to devlin.ai.

Several simulations in one course

If a course has more than one embedded simulation, the reported score is their average, and the course passes only when every simulation passes.

How it works

  1. 1

    Build your simulation

Create the scenario in devlin.ai, then copy the Rise 360 snippet from the Publishing tab.

  2. 2

    Embed it in your lesson

In Rise, add a Multimedia, then Embed block. Click Content, then Change, and paste the snippet.

  3. 3

    Export for your LMS

In Rise, click Publish, choose LMS with SCORM 1.2 or SCORM 2004, and download. For tracking, choose Track using course completion.

  4. 4

    Add the bridge

Upload the downloaded .zip on the simulation's Publishing tab. The patched package downloads back to you.

  5. 5

    Upload to your LMS

Upload the -devlin.zip package to your LMS. Scores, pass/fail, and completion are reported when learners finish the simulation.

Frequently asked questions

Do I have to edit the SCORM package myself?

No. Upload your Rise LMS export on the Publishing tab and the bridge is added for you. If you prefer to do it by hand, the Publishing tab also shows the one line to paste into scormcontent/index.html.

Which tracking option should I choose in Rise?

Choose Track using course completion. Do not track using a quiz, because a quiz score would compete with the simulation's score.

Do I need to add the bridge again after I re-export?

Yes. Each Rise export creates a fresh package without the bridge. Run every new export through the Publishing tab before uploading it to your LMS.

Why don't I see scores in Rise preview?

Rise previews, share links, and web exports have no SCORM session, so nothing is reported there. To check reporting end to end, upload the package to your LMS or a free SCORM Cloud account and complete the simulation.

What does the LMS receive?

Score, pass/fail, session time, and a completed status. These are the same fields the Storyline integration sends.

Which plans include LMS reporting?

LMS reporting is included on the Core, Team, and Enterprise plans. You can set up the steps on any plan, but results are sent to the LMS only once the account is on one of those plans.

Can I add a coach to a Rise lesson too?

Yes. Coaches have their own Rise 360 snippet on their Publishing tab, and you paste it into an Embed block the same way.
